- Finding perfect parking upon arrival at the Houston Galleria
- Sipping the Samurai Chai Mate blended with White Ayurvedic Chai tea at Teavana before work starts (no rush)
- Being greeted with a friendly "hello" from co-workers upon arrival
- Having no one else in the stock room upon arrival at work + placing a pretty "smile" tag
- Having the new store manager, Terri, notice the "smile" tag and reacting/speaking positively of it
- Time flying at work + no major physical labor (just "replenishment" of the dresses, "finger spacing" and Swiffer dust floor)
- Hearing Depeche Mode's song "Strange Love" at work
- Having Manny there to clean the bathroom floor and Swiffer dust the stock room
- Having Manny say "What did you say Elvia?" to me, when I was asking Nadia something yet felt that I wasn't being heard and didn't feel I needed to be [insecurity issues]
- Finding out my work schedule for next week before leaving + no work on NYE
- Having enough (signal) bars on my cell phone in the stock room to hear VM msgs
- Left work on time (11pm), due to having 4 other people for closing shift
- Getting home safe + eating fish (tilapia), gumbo, chocolate-dipped coconut macaroons, and vitamins
- Finding presents mom got for us under the Christmas tree
- Finding out my Gilt.com purchase (Elizabeth Cole crystal jaguar studs) has shipped and will arrive Christmas Eve
